Well, its been a while since I have posted here. It’s been busy with getting enrolled in Kaplan, which is now officially over. I start my online classes on March 25th. I will be finishing my bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in web technology. They are giving me credit for my associates degree and I will hopefully be able to finish this within a year and a half.

I went to a Displaced Workers meeting yesterday at RCC. I believe it was for workers displaced from Crenlo. I didn’t think I would see anyone that I knew there, but Kelly W came in and we got to catch up some. It was good to see her again.

There was one big surprise, and that was when Falene walked in. I hadn’t heard that there had been another round of layoff’s. It was hard to believe because of the length of service she had and the part that she played at Crenlo. We had a chance to visit after the meeting. It was nice to talk to someone that had been through the same process that I had been through. It’s really hard to convey to others the many feelings that go with the layoff, unless you have been through it.

Anyways, That’s what has been happening since the last post. I have been putting in apps, calling companies from the phone book and working with The Work Force Center. Not really that much out there… I have been able to get a couple of resume’s out there, but they want them for potential future projects. I am going tomorrow to Digital People in Bloomington to register with them and I may find some opportunities there. I will keep everyone posted.
